CCLCS CODE OF CONDUCT

A. Discrimination

CCLCS is committed to a policy of non-harassment and non-discrimination on the basis
of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual
orientation, age, record of offences, marital status, family status or handicap.
Discrimination is the showing of partiality or prejudice and the denying of certain rights
and privileges accorded to others.

B. Harassment

Harassment is any form of behaviour directed at you that you find offensive and that the
other person knew, or ought reasonably to have known, would be unwelcome.
Harassment can be a remark or gesture – made once or many times – that demeans,
belittles, causes personal humiliation or embarrassment. It can come from a CCLCS
employee or client. CCLCS will not tolerate any form of harassment.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE CODE

Students and Staff who do not adhere to this code of conduct are subject to disciplinary
action up to and including dismissal.
